Case Results

Client was arrested for DUI involving a crash where the Client crashed into a motorcyclist who had stopped at a red light. Our Client hit the motorcycle driver at a high rate of speed causing serious injury to the motorcycle rider. Client was found to have both alcohol and drugs in his system. Client immediately hired attorney Robert Whittel to defend him in the case. Attorney Whittel built a defense based on the fact that there was not sufficient witnesses in the case and the Prosecutors could not prove the combination of drugs and alcohol impaired the Client.
RESULT - After a jury trial, Client was found NOT GUILTY.

Client charged with Robbery with a Firearm, Drug Trafficking, and False Imprisonment. The Defendant hired attorney Robert Whittel immediately. The rapid reponse investigators were immediately dispatched to gather evidence related to the case and find reasonable doubt. After an extensive investigation, attorney Robert WHittel demanded a speedy trial to force the prosecutor to trial. All charges were dismissed before the jury trial began.
RESULT - Case Dismissed.

Defendant was charged with Driving Under the Influence ("DUI") and the defendant refused to submit to a breathalizer. At trial, Attorney Robert Whittel successfully argued that the field sobriety exercises offered by the arresting officer did not prove the defendant was guilty.
RESULT - Not Guilty at Trial.

Defendant was charged with Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a minor child relative. An immediate and extensive investigation revealed many discrepancies in the evidence. Attorney Robert Whittel and co-counsel engaged in a long process of discovery and depositions. Based upon the defenses built, the Prosecutor was forced to dismiss all Charges.
RESULT - Case Dismissed.

Defendant was arrested for his second DUI in les than one year and blew into the intoxilizer above the legal limit of .08. Defense attorney Robert Whittel challenged the results of the field sobriety excercises and the results of the breath machine. Attorney Robert Whittel used an expert witness to show that the breathalizer machine used had not been properly maintained. During trial the Prosecutor reduced the charge to Reckless Driving.
RESULT - Charges Reduced.

Client charges with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The defendant allegedly threatened and pointed a gun at his live in girlfriend threatening to kill her. Attorney Robert Whittel was hired immediately and engaged in a lengthy investigation of the case. Attorney Robert Whittel argued reasonable doubt existed based upon discrepancies in the deposition statements.
RESULT - Case Dismissed.
